Spring into Swing

Savana began jazz dancing at age 4 and has been devoted ever since. Passionate about dance in general, she has trained in solo, contemporary, classical, and hip hop. She's competed extensively, securing both regional and national prizes, and joined a conservatory during her high school years.

She ventured into rock dance at age 7, swiftly moving on to salsa and, later, West Coast Swing. Very young, she was given the opportunity to teach, where she found joy in connecting and sharing with students. After high school, she chose to specialize in WCS and relocated to Switzerland, where she now lives and works at Jang Widler's dance school.

João started dancing at the age of 8 in a German folk dance group in southern Brazil. By 2006, he had expanded into various other styles such as zouk, salsa, Forro, Samba de Gafiera, and Argentine Tango. Dance became a significant part of his life, and he dedicated numerous hours weekly to professional training.

In 2011, João started teaching and was introduced to West Coast Swing in 2012. He quickly fell in love with this dance. He pursued training opportunities, attending events both in Brazil and abroad. In 2014, he started teaching WCS in Brazil. He continues to teach it with passion today both in Switzerland and at various European events.

Kasia and Marcin are a pair of teachers from Krakow with impressive experience in both dancing and teaching. They constantly surprise their students with new, creative exercises and are able to translate even the most difficult WCS concepts into a language that anyone can understand. They have the ability to teach people in such a way that not only turns them into aspiring WCS dancers, but most importantly, they create a family community of friends who share the same passion. For Kasia and Marcin, West Coast Swing is not only about dancing, but above all spending time with positive people, having great fun and recharging the batteries.

Ania and Damian are West Coast Swing instructors from Wrocław. He organized a workshop, and she was the best student who caught his eye. They started their adventure with WCS a long time ago, but before that, Ania was fascinated by salsa, and Damian danced ballroom. Since 2015, they have been teaching regular WCS classes in Wrocław, as well as workshops throughout Poland. They are the organizers of two nationwide events: Westowy Karnawał and Summer Chillout. They regularly participate in international events, learning from the best instructors and taking part in competitions at the highest levels. They love teaching and observing the development of the Polish WCS community.
